First things first, a congratulations are in order for the winners at last night’s Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. My favorite fashionable twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley took home the big prize, Womenswear Designer of the Year, for their line, The Row. Let’s also give a round of applause for Reed Krakoff, Accessory Designer of the Year; Joseph Altuzarra, winner of Swarovski’s Emerging Talent Award for Womenswear; and Tommy Hilfiger, recipient of the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
