It’s that time of the year again. Throw on your red, white and blue – we’re celebrating America’s 236th birthday!
I know it’s second nature to slip into the old flag-printed t-shirt, but I’m not letting you take the easy route out this time. No matter how you’ll be celebrating, there’s a chic way to do red, white and blue without crossing into tacky territory. Whether you’re attending a rowdy pool party with friends, a laid-back barbecue with the fam, or romantic fireworks with the boyfriend, I have all of the preparations for standing out as the most stylish American at your event of choice.
Nothing says 4th of July like lounging by the pool with your friends, blaring some classic American oldies and binging on chips and dip. Put on a cute polka dot bikini and cover up with a blue jumpsuit for a relaxed fit. Complete the look with this season’s round sunglasses in white and a pair of red flip flops. A straw hat and a dainty gold necklace keeps the look casual yet chic. With or without the jumpsuit, you’re bound to show some infectious patriotism in that bikini!
